John Primer With Chris James And Patrick Rynn
I used the line from the Robert Johnson song, “Sweet Home Chicago” to symbolize that John Primer was coming to California from Chicago to perform, and represented the two places with an image of wind for The Windy City, and a bright sun for California. The big blue flower growing out of an old Chicago street scene represents the great Chicago blues tradition which Primer, James and Rynn all represent. The names of some of the Chicago blues greats surround the flower.
