I had vaguely in mind the Art Nouveau posters by Alphonse Mucha of idealized women with stylized tendrils of hair, particularly his famous ad for Job cigarettes that was borrowed for Fillmore posters. I liked the idea of hair morphing into peacock feathers. When Tommy Castro saw the poster he was confused about what the image had to do with him!
